Second Life never fails to amaze not only with the variety of creative forces at work but by the number of different approaches to displaying art. Cybergrrl Oh let me know that Alaskan Art is on display over on the University of Alaska Fairbanks sim. I wasn't able to make it to the pre-opening event, but scooted down there today to take a look. The art is distinctive and the layout simple and effective with an outdoors style all its own. It was snowing when I got there *nice touch*.The Rasmuson Foundation is a RL non-profit which aims to improve the quality of life for all Alaskans.
The official opening of the gallery will be on May 12 but you can tp over to Rhetorica right now and take a look at the current grantees.
Se come me non hai mai avuto modo di visitare l'Alaska, o conoscere meglio come si vive l'arte in quello stato americano particolarissimo, la fondazione RL Rasmuson Foundation ci offre l'occasione perfetta con la nuova galleria sul sim dell'Università d'Alaska Fairbanks. L'inaugurazione ufficiale della galleria si svolgerà il 12 maggio.
