Chillin' with Wolfie

Hot here today, so I TP'd over tothe lovely mountain sim of Salzburg, to get some coolin' in. It's the birthplace of Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart, and a fine statue to the world's greatest composer stands in the main square, which doubles as an out-door ballroom. I recommend the waltz.
When you're done dancing, make sure you go and see the Mozart Birthplace Museum round the corner. Nestled in among the many interesting shops and Euro 08 soccer gear, you'll find this perfect example of what we mean when we talk about 'art parks'.

Nothing flashy or prim heavy, just a small piece in the cultural mosaic of Second Life.
The museum was built by Ice Stawberry. It consists of two rooms, downstairs there's some info on the musician's life, and a couple of portaits... plus the intriguing offer of a Mozart costume, which I didn't pick up - but only because I didn't think it would go with my Dame Edna glasses which, as you can see, I was wearing for a bet.
Moving on from the museum I checked out the variety of stores, the Hotel and the ski lift, before coming to the fabulous Cathedral, or Dom, as they say in Austria. Here I ran into a guy called ... Dom. What were the chances, huh.
Last but not least, connect with your inner Amadeus when you climb up to the fortress (oh OK then just TP if you must) and check out the lovely valley view, one Mozart might even recognize, heck you never know.
Turn on your audio. The hills are alive with the sound of music.

Fa caldo qui oggi, e, alla ricerca di un po' d'aria di montagna, ho teleportato al sim di Salzburgo: è la città natale del grande musicista Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart. Qui troverai una bella statua a lui dedicato nella piazza principale, che funge anche da pista da ballo all'aria aperta.
Ti consiglio il valzer.
Finito di ballare, potresti andare a vedere la casa natale di Mozart un esempio perfetto di cosa può essere un parco d'arte. Nel cuore della zona commerciale, circondata dai negozi e le offerte legati al Euro '08, il museo non porta via molti metri quadrati o molti prim, ma offre un'importante tessera nel mosaico culturale di Second Life.
Il museo è stato fatto da Ice Stawberry ed è composto da due stanze, al piano terra ci sono delle informazioni sulla vita del maestro, alcuni ritratti, con in più l'offerta allettante di un costume mozartiano. Io non ho approffitato, pensavo non abbinasse con gli occhiali da dame Edna che come vedi portavo per vincere una scommessa.
Dal museo sono passata per i negozi, l'albergo e la sciovia per poi arrivare nella piazza del duomo o Dom come dicono in Austria. Qui ho incontrato un ragazzo del nome ... Dom. Pensa te.
E infine, cerca il tuo Amadeus interiore e sali su fino al castello (e va bene, prendi il TP se proprio devi). Ti premierà una panorama stupenda che forse anche Mozart avrebbe riconosciuto, non si sa mai. Accendi l'audio, dai, tutti insieme appassionatamente...e le colline vivono del suono della musica...
