Arts Building

There will be time to murder and create,
And time for all the works and days of hands
That lift and drop a question on your plate;
Time for you and time for me,
And time yet for a hundred indecisions,
And for a hundred visions and revisions,
Before the taking of a toast and tea.
TS Eliot, The Love Song of J. Alfred Profrock
The entries are in for the first edition of ArtsBuilding the ArtsParks contest in which Residents are challenged to create, in 10 prims or less, a representation of one of their favourite artists! The entries are outstanding and we hope this will be the first of many editions!
Here are the names of some of the entries, just to give you an idea of the range of subjects: The Decameron, Gustav Klimt, Jean Miro', the film Tron, film maker Federico Fellini, the ballerina Carla Fracci, and Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, just to name a few! Perhaps like me RL intervened and you didn't make the deadline, but you can easily get inspired for the next time by going to see these fantastic pieces. You can find the entries at Tanalois, Jabberwocky, you can see several pieces outside the Villa of catullus at Porto Cervo , there are four more entries in the garden at Jules Verne Park at Sybirya and at ArtsParks Headquarters, and a handy TP device in each location will allow you to tour all the sims with ease. Each piece of art contains a notecard which will give you some additional information about the work and the artist represented. Please take the time to do the tour, and vote for your preferred piece, if you join the ArtsParks group you'll get occasional updates about the voting, the prizes and the closing ceremony.
Che sollevano e lasciano cadere una domanda sul tuo piatto;
Vedremo!
