Contestants were challenged to build an original work of art that celebrates a RL musician, painter, sculptor, writer or artist, in 10 prims or less. Their works are now on display in groups across 5 separate sims associated with ArtsParks: at Jabberwocky, Tanalois, Porto Cervo, Sybirya, and Artsparks Central.
You can go and view the artwork and vote for your preferred pieces - you can vote for multiple works, and you can vote every day if you like! At the moment the front runners are Tamara Iuga's The Heroe's Laugh a tribute to the sculptor Pietro Cascella, and Aloisio Congrejo's homage to the work of Gustav Klimt. Please take a little time to visit each of the five sims - the competing entries are different in each location, which are linked with on-the-spot LM givers - and please vote by clicking on the vote boxes in front of each piece (I find it helps to stand quite close to the artwork the vote boxes don't always rez if you cam in to the display) and while you're there why not explore the other delights these lovely sims have to offer.
We have another week to make our votes count! Let's show our contestants the support they deserve for the amazing range and variety of their work. To get you in the mood for some sim hopping, here are two examples that really caught my eye, at Jabberwocky you will find fra19a70 Campese's What Freedom a reflection on Ilya Repin's painting complete with romantic pose, and at Sybirya you'll see Sonsierei Lunasea's The scream of Gea a stunning and thoughtful sculpture that draws inspiration from Munch's famous painting The Scream.

Siamo arrivati alla seconda settimana di votazione - il pubblico (e quando dico pubblico parlo direttamente a te) è invitato ad andare a vedere le opere e a votare. Le opere si trovano aggruppati su 5 land diverse, a Jabberwocky, Tanalois, Porto Cervo, Sybirya, e Artsparks Central. visitare tutte e cinque per vedere giudicare e dare il tuo appoggio alle opere che più ti piacciono. In questo momento in testa alla classifica sono Tamara Iuga: La risata dell'eroe in onore dello scultore Pietro Cascella, e da parte di Aloisio Congrejo, un omaggio a Gustav Klimt.
Puoi votare per molteplici opere (tutte quante, se desideri!) e puoi votare ogni opera una volta al giorno, quindi non mancare all'appuntamento quotidiano... queste land offrono molto da vedere, quando hai votato non perdere l'occasione di visitarle bene. Per facilitare il giro di tutte le opere troverai su ogni land il dispositivo che ti donerà tutti i LM necessari. Qui sopra si vede il dispositivo accanto all'opera molto suggestiva di Sonsierei Lunasea L'urlo di Gea che prende spunto dal famoso dipinto di Munch e lo fa vivere al livello ... globale. A me piace molto, come peraltro tutte le opere in gara. Gea si trova a Sybirya, sede del parco Jules Verne quindi potrai anche visitare le favolose macchine verniane di Clematilde Oyen e Magica deCuir
A Jabberwocky la land di Alice nel paese delle meraviglie di Surrealia Anatine troverai tra le altre opere questa riflessione di fra19a70 Campese sul quadro Che libertà del pittore russo Il'ja Repin. Questa bella versione ci consente di divenire parte del quadro con una posa molto romantica. Per votare, basta toccare il vote-box davanti ad ogni opera. A volte ci vuole un po per farle rezzare, se non le vedi subito è consigliabile avvicinarsi bene alle opere per poter aggiungere anche la tua voce alla scelta dell'opera più bella, ma affrettati a partecipare alla votazione - mancano solo pochi giorni alla fine del concorso!
